In the unlikely event that your chosen product is defective or displays an error code please email: hello@forkliftbatterychargersdirect.com.au or alternatively call 0413 015 775 to speak with our technical department so that we can provide technical assistance to troubleshoot the issue.
If the issue cannot be resolved remotely we will cover the freight costs to return the item to our workshop for further diagnosis and repair. If your item cannot be repaired in a timely fashion we will replace your item with a new item or offer you a full refund.
Warranty
Our GM Electric Battery Chargers are backed with a two years manufacturer’s warranty covering defective products. All other products on our website come with a one year warranty covering defective products. Charger Anomaly Codes
If your battery charger displays an AL code then an anomaly has occurred during the charging cycle and the charge has been stopped. In the unlikely event that your charger displays an anomaly code please email: hello@forkliftbatterychargersdirect.com.au or alternatively call 0413 015 775 to speak with our technical department for troubleshooting steps.
Code | Anomaly Description |
---|---|
AL1 | Thermal probe intervention due to too high transformer temperature. |
AL2 | High frequency transformer too high current. |
AL3 | Power supply missing a phase. |
AL4 | Thermal probe intervention because of a too high heat sink temperature. |
AL5 | Thermal probe intervention because of a too high power board temperature. |
AL6 | Battery temperature alarm (for chargers fitted with optional battery temperature probe). |
AL7 | Abnormal pump operation (for chargers fitted with optional pump). |
ALT | If this time alarm appears it means that the the charging cycle was not completed before the 12 hour charging limit was reached. This condition is not a fault of the battery charger. The battery may be too big for the charger or the battery may be damaged. To erase this alarm press the PROG button. |
ALo | A too high battery voltage has been detected. |
BtF | If this alarm appears it means that the battery has not reached the predetermined voltage per cell after a preset time. This condition is not a fault of the battery charger. The battery may be too big for the charger or the battery may be damaged. To erase this alarm press the PROG button. |
