You need to find the data plate and we don’t mean your forklift one. Whilst the forklift data plate may list the battery voltage and capacity this is not enough information to determine the specifications of your replacement battery.
Forklift data plate
You need to find the data plate on the side of your battery tray.
This is likely to be a sticker on the outside of the metal battery tray and it may require lifting the seat and/or removing the side panels of your forklift to locate it.
Once you’ve found it please take a photo and email or text it to our Tech Department hello@forkliftbatterychargersdirect.com.au or 0413 015 775. We will use the Battery Model Number to identify your replacement battery, we’ll check stock availability and send through your quote.
So what’s included?

- Peace of Mind.
So how is this going to work?
For businesses located within Metro areas our quote includes the following services (a freight surcharge may apply for non-Metro areas):
- Day 1: On-site visit to remove your existing battery from your forklift & transport it to our workshop (Do you or your neighbour have a second forklift to assist? If not we’ll bring one.)
- Day 2: Disassembly & disposal of your old battery components, your existing steel tray is repainted (subject to the steel tray being re-usable) and new components are assembled into your tray,
- Day 3: Returning your new battery to your site, and installing your new battery into your forklift.
We’re up for a challenge:
- Regional? No problem. We can either freight you a battery rebuilt kit, including all the components you’ll need for you to do the disassembly and reassembly yourself, or if we have your battery tray in stock we can freight you a completely new battery already assembled into a new tray.
- No second forklift on site? All good. We have a range of mobile lifting options.
- Unique battery model? Easy. If we can’t find your battery model number in our tech database we’ll ask you to measure the length, width and height of your current battery. We’ll use these measurements to determine the best battery cells that will fit inside your tray and meet your forklift’s performance requirements.
